Hi! I’m Jen and I want to welcome you to my site. I am on a journey to believe, live and lead radically different! For most of my life, I have tried to be normal, blasting through the day…doing, producing, giving. I ignored the warning signs and soon found myself depleted…physically, emotionally, spiritually. Despite all I was doing, I didn’t like the person I was becoming. I was afraid, gave excuses and convinced myself this is just the way it’s going to be. This is normal. But normal was killing me.
Many of us find that we have overstuffed lives and undernourished souls. Despite being born an original, we end up living out someone else’s agenda for our lives. We sense that we are made for so much more yet we find ourselves stuck. We say we want to get well but we don’t want to have to do things differently. Change me, Lord, just don’t make me change. But thriving in life and leadership means radically different thought processes, choices, and expectations. It can be hard to believe, live and lead radically different but it is necessary to walk the road that leads to freedom in Christ.
Don’t settle for less!
I want to build a community where we can encourage and challenge one another to live a radically different life. In my weekly blog posts, you’ll find a variety of practical ideas, resources, quotes, personal stories, scriptures and reflection questions to help us believe, live and lead radically different. I am also in the planning stages to launch my podcast Giving Up Normal.
